Welcome
I’m glad you are here
I create a safe space where conversations about hard things like serious illness, death, grief and loss, caregiving, and distress are welcomed.
Lori Eckel, LCSW, APHSW-C
I’m a palliative care specialist. I help you feel seen and supported. Together, we will connect you to your values, priorities, and sense of meaning in how you live, care, and/or work.
For over 2 decades I have worked as a palliative care social worker, ethics consultant, educator, mentor, and facilitator in hospital, clinic, community and university settings. I bring a compassionate presence to the work with deep listening. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and supported.
For your comfort, I provide my services in your preferred location - telehealth, your home, or your workplace. Please let me know if there is an alternate location you prefer.
I am licensed in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho
